Perched up high on the ridge overlooking a spectacular vista of ocean and islands, you can see Waihi, Katikati, Matakana, Mare Island, Mt.Maunganui and Tauranga with views up the inner harbour, you can even see the visiting cruise ships on a good day!
Scarlet Ridge is a private haven nestled amongst three acres of sheltered gardens. If you take the time to wander and explore you will meet many of the inhabitants; there's the transient group of Doves and some friendly native Pukeko's.
There are also Bellbird's and Tui's attracted by the abundance of flowers. The giant Kaka Beak tree which flowers several times during the year and the mass of Camellia trees during winter.
