Location

We are situated on the main route between Tauranga and Rotorua, on a ridge that overlooks Tauranga with views out the Harbour entrance and across the Pacific ocean to Waihi. The distance into Tauranga city is approximately 16 km and to Rotorua approximately 24 km, Tauranga and the Mount being an easy 20 minute journey and around 30 minutes to Rotorua.

To Tauranga from Auckland (2.5 hrs driving time)

Scenic route – Take State Highway 2 through Ngatea, Paeroa, Waihi, Katikati to Bethlehem . Turn right into Moffat Rd, this becomes Cambridge Rd, then left onto State Highway 29 as depicted on the map.

Or State Highway 27 to Matamata, to State Highway 24, then 29 over the Kaimai Hills and then follow the map.

To Tauranga from Taupo

Take State Highway 5 to Rotorua, travel to Ngongataha travel just past Hamurana then take a left turn to the Tauranga Direct Rd (Highway 26). We are situated approx 30 mins drive along this road, you will turn left into Oropi Gorge Rd to arrive at Scarlet Ridge which is the third house on your left.
